The club repeater is at 145.310 mhz with a PL tone of 162.2
Be thinking of March. Why March. It will
be time for H.A.M. club officer elections of President, Vice
President, Secretary, and Treasure.
The Ham Association of Mesquite hosts a
FOX (Transmitter) hunt the last Sunday of the month
starting at about 1:00 p.m. Initial
contact and coordination is on the WJ5J repeater at 145.310 w/PL
of 162.2. Contact Tim
Lewis - KD6FWD for more information. All
are invited to participate.
This is what 2008 looks like for
activities.
Mesquite Rodeo Bike Ride 2008
sponsored by the Mesquite Rotary Club will most likely be held
on June 7th (to be confirmed). The overall time for
the activity is generally from about 7:00 / 7:30 a.m. to 1:00
p.m. The coordinator for this event will most likely be The
Mesquite RACES Radio Officer Craig (KV5E). Expect a call for
volunteers during H.A.M. information nets and RACES / EMCOM
training nets in the month of April.
The 2008 Ham-Com will be June
13th and 14th and be held at the Plano
Center. Check the
www.hamcom.org page for additional information.
The ever-popular ARRL Field Day
will be June 28th and 29th. More
information to come.
